Question Which unsolved crime/death would you most like to see solved?

The title of the thread is self-explanatory. I've seen this question posted on other forums and just wondered what your thoughts were. A popular answer, of course, is Jack the Ripper but I was wondering what other unsolved crimes intrigue us?

I find those two fascinating as well. Also, who kidnapped the Beaumont children and who was Sharon Marshall?

I've spent hours reading about those cases too. Fascinating and so tragic. The more I read on the Johnny Gosch case, the more complicated and confusing it seems.

    Exactly.

Read about Paige Renkoski, too. Not a whole lot on the web about her, I've written about her, but a total mystery. Vanished into thin air.

Oakland County Child Killer is another WTF case. Avoid anything Helen whatshername, Dagner? says, she's a total crackpot.

There are limitless cases I'd love to KNOW the true answers to, among them are:
    J.F.K.
    Marilyn Monroe
    Adam Walsh
    Nicole Brown & Ron Goldman
    The Black Dahlia
    Jon Benet Ramsey
9/11....yeah, I know which terrorists took control of the flights....but I wonder if there is more to know about the darkest day in American history.
and.....my brother, Jim. I have a gut feeling that his death was not a suicide.

As Xena said......I'm sure that more will come to mind as time goes on.

    Mrs James Dean, re: Pac

Did you ever read about the Rampart Scandal within LAPD and those two police officers that went down?

A lot of people (including police officers) accept the theory that they killed Tupac on the orders of Sug Knight because Pac was going to leave Death Row.

The DVD of the movie Crash (excellent movie) has a docu on the end of it about the Rampart scandal and about those two cops.

Its some spooky shit how Sug was sitting right next to him and not one thing happened to him.

The Kevin Collins kidnapping. How a 10 year old sitting at a bus stop at oak and Masonic Streets in San Franciscos Haight-Ashbury can vanish without a trace is beyond me. That was 1984. To this day theyve never found him

As awful as this feeling is, at least we know he is dead & will not be wandering back into our lives. That sounds rather harsh but compared to all of the folks on this planet whose loved ones have simply disappeared, living with the wondering is not as horrible as living without knowing anything.

there is a book called "Jack the Ripper case closed" by Patricia Cornwell I think she solved it really I do, she did some deep research and I can't remember the guys name off the top of my head but she determined it was this artist who had mutilated boy parts and couldn't perform sexually hence fueling his rage, paintings he did were similar to crime scenes this was before anyone ever saw any photos...it's a good read but I think she figured it out

I think the painter reffered to by Patricia Cornwell was called Walter Sickert, I read that he was abroad when some the killings happened. They did find dna on a shawl belonging to one of the victims but it was too degraded to be usful and a lot of the case files were destroyed in a bomb left by terrorists in the early 1900's
