The last picture of Andre The Giant taken in late '92, this was taken I believe during the last leg of his Japanese tour. Quite sad, his body was gone by this time, he couldn't balance himself, and was rarely in the ring.

Poor Amy. That breaks my heart.

You should see the performance her manager should be ashamed of themselves.
Beau Biden
Find it REALLY hard to believe there were ZERO drugs in her system.... I don't blame the manager either.... If she was like any other Star/Addict she ran the show - Elvis, MJ.....

Jeez poor Amy. How could anyone deny that something was wrong? I can't wait to see the documentary about her. I just read an article about a Chris Farley doc coming out as well, that should be another sad one.

Mr. Moody's daughter, Cat, took this pic two years ago. It appears on her Facebook page, so it's already been made public.

I hope someone is following Burt Reynolds around because I saw him on television not too long ago . . .

According to the NY Post, this is Bowie's official last photo, taken last month at the premier of his Broadway show.
David Bowie two days before his death
From what I've just read that is his last professional photo shoot, but it was done previously and released on his birthday/album release date. Not sure when the shoot was.

Ronnie Van Zant - October 17 or 19, 1977 - either Lakeland, FL or Greenville, SC. The kid he's signing an autograph for is/was Bobby Sanders from Lakeland, FL
That autograph is probably the last one ever signed by RVZ. And the photo of all of them in front of the plane is probably from the day before that final tour began.
Two books I would recommend (even though Gene Odom has again changed his story as to whether Ronnie was buckled in a seat (he now claims otherwise) before they crashed in the 2015 DVD, "Lynyrd Skynyrd: Gone With The Wind", is Gene's book "Remembering The Freebirds Of Southern Rock" and tour manager, Ron Eckerman's book, "Turn It Up! My Years With Lynyrd Skynyrd - Love, Life & Death Southern Style."
The latter book had an original release in 2011 but, shortly before Ron passed away from acute myeloid leukemia, he wanted to release an updated version with pictures. Unfortunately, this edition doesn't deliver as far as pictures but the stories in the book are great. He tells of the plane crash and the time leading up to it at the beginning of each chapter. It's really worth a read. Ron blamed himself for the crash because he was the one who signed the lease for them to be able to fly the plane.

The picture of David Bowie in the suit with a big smile was from his visit to England, to show Iman and his daughter where he grew up. This was after he was diagnosed with cancer, but before he got too sick to travel. The one AtomicBettie posted is the actual 'last photo in public' of him, from the Premier of the stage play he worked on in New York. Lazareth? Not sure how you spell that. I have read that he helped do a show about his life. I would love to see that show.
Thank you Hags for posting these.

Dear Jersey,
Being a big Ang fan, (Even named our car after her) I saw this photo and felt sadder than before,,,She was such a bright light...She will surely be missed
I heard about this horrible accident when it happened and my first thought was "WTF was he doing???" Trying to get across a drawbridge before the gap opened all the way is just plain stupid. Reminds me of that scene in "SATB II" where Jackie Gleason tells his son to "Get out and push the car, Junior!" (not knowing that both ends of the car were on the edges of the drawbridge and he couldn't push it.
But...the former isn't funny in any way.....

So I had to go and look up Big Ang (cause I didn't know who she was) and GOOD LAWD that was scary! She looked way better before all the surgery!
