    My life in turmoil

Hey to all I know you haven't seen me for a few days, but I ran away from home....Nope not ppd just had to get away from the hubster unit. He has been really mean and hateful (even more so since the baby has been born) I know that we all have our share of mistakes but what he did and kept doing was uncalled for. I have been somewhere where I can and could heal from the big C (he wanted me to bounce up and do everything i was doing before the big C) and it has killed me. I am no stranger to doing it (motherhood) all by myself but I just couldn't keep going the way things were going between us. I personally wanted to let all of you all know that I'll be back on here as soon as I get settled. Have not decided wheter to go home and hope that it all stops or to go ahead and get my own place and let him keep that one (without my stuff) Personally I know this is going to sound weird but we got along better when he had his place and I had mine. It seems that since we have become one family under 1 roof it has been hell and heartache. Don't get me wrong I''m not trying to be the big bad bitch here I want to share joint custody with me as the primary I just think we cannot live together. Miss chatting with all you hags and I'll be popping on and off until i get settled in. Love ya'll lot's. and keep haggin!

Hey, there's only one you, and you need to be happy. Do what you have to do, and take care of yourself and the little munchkin.

Why would someone who is defending themselves and their children sound like a bitch?

It sounds like you have tried to make it work. If it's so bad that you "ran away" (and I'm GLAD that you ran) then you need to be out. And you are not a bitch. It doesn't take being a bitch to want to live a peaceful life and raise your kids in a positive environment.

I say---ditch that bitch and make that switch. You can be happy. Do it.

i ran away many times before i actually decided not to go back. i kept going back because i thought that was what was best for the kids and it took along time before i realised the best thing for my kids was me being happy.

    YOU ARE NOT A BITCH!!!!!!!!!!

Do not feel bad for "running away". You and your baby deserve better. You do not have to live with that kind of hatred. Get your own place and let your husband have his place (Get your stuff though! Use a police escort if need be). You should not live your life to please him or to let him shit on you. Do what makes you happy! A happy mamma makes a happy baby. If not for yourself, do it for your child. Your baby doesn't need to grow up thinking it's okay to treat people that way or thinking that they're no good because Daddy says horrible things all the time.

I admire you for having the strength to leave, especially recovering from the baby's birth and major surgery at the same time. As others have said, it must have been pretty bad if you had to take that course of action. Your kids (and of course you) don't need an unhealthy environment to live and grow up in, and it sounds like you had their and your own well-being first in your mind. That's neither bitchy nor selfish. You might want to consider counseling, too, if it's been an issue for a while, just to get your head cleared and have an objective person to speak to in person.

Good luck to you! You've done the right thing.

Hope it works out for you; been there. My opinion on men/spouses/liveins/etc is this:
If they add to your life, stay.
If they take away from your life, leave.

I agree with everyone here..You are NOT a Bitch..you are doing whats best for your kids and yourself..you cannot raise kids in an atmosphere like that.. if you are with someone who is making you feel like that and IMO if you are constantly defending yourself to to this guy that is a terrible way for your kids to grow up seeing their mom so unhappy..you and they deserve to live a life free from that. Stay strong do what you need to for yourself and your kids..you all deserve all the happiness life can offer.

Never been through it, but know people who have, and men like that seldom, if ever, change. You'd be better off with your own place.

I know you're thinking of your kids, but life is too damn short for you or them to live in misery.

I agree, Jop. It is a nightmare for children to witness the two people they love most in the world and depend on screaming at each other, not to mention the physical abuse.

    I'm Back!

Holy hell, people. Let me just say that this has been the most stressful two weeks of my life and it isn't getting any better.

I just bought a house! Yes, I got my house after much tormoil. I get up at 6am to go to work, work for 8 hours, go to the new house and paint for 5 hours then go back to my apartment, shower and go to sleep. There's not much time for anything else at the moment, but I do check in here from time to time.

One word of advice....paint your house for the next owner if you smoke. The little old lady that died in the house was a smoker. Everything in the house is yellow from nicotine and I've spent a fortune in Kills paint to get rid of the smell. Everything, and I mean everything, has to be repainted.

Yeah it's always fun dealing with other people's weirdness that you inherit and then have to pay to pave over.

Washing the walls and giving the floors/carpet a thorough cleaning a few times a year is mandatory in our house for that reason (my husband doesn't give a shit but I do. He also doesn't smoke.). I'm so mean to me! But even though I smoke, I don't dig that shit and wouldn't leave it for someone else. Nasty!

I do! Wonder where the majority of the cast is now, aside from Travolta, I don't think any of them have gone on to do much.
