Oktoberfest @ Alpine VIllage, Los Angeles

Has anyone in the L.A. area been to this? How are the prices? Reasonable?

Anyone else think that events like Oktoberfest and the San Gennaro Festival lose something when they are held in Los Angeles?

I can't comment on the Alpine Village but they have been around forever, since I was a little kid. I would always see their commercials for Oktoberfest on TV.

If you want to hang with some real Germans, try The Phoenix Club in Anaheim. I've been here a few times with a local Lutheran church and high school group. Their celebrations kick ass and the prices are reasonable, especially for the quality.
