Jim Siedow (June 12 1920 - November 20 2003) was an American actor

Siedow was born in Cheyenne Wyoming and began his acting career in his high school theater department.

He served in the Army Air Corps during World War 2.

After the war Jim returned to acting and directing in theatre in Whoâ??s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and many others.

In 1971 Siedow appeared in his first movie role The Windsplitter. His best known role came in 1974 when Tobe Hooper cast him as Drayton Sawer in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Other movie apperances were Red Alert, Hotwire, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2.

Siedow died from emphysema complications on November 20th 2003 at the age of 83.
