1. I don't care what she was. She was drugged and raped.
2. I don't care what she wants now. It's not her decision to make. It was her decision when she decided to prosecute. She decided to prosecute and he was found guilty. Due process must take it's course. When you are found guilty of a crime, you must carry out some form of punishment (even if the sentence is suspended, it's still a sentence). 3. I feel sorry for the girl. I'm sure she never expected this mess to run on for this long. Have a trial, found guilty, a-hole serves his time, the world forgets. In my mind, he raped her again by fleeing and dragging this out of so long. I'm sure there will be some sort of punishment for fleeing the country as well as the rape of long ago.
