Last JUNE in Baltimore, a young man named ZACH SOWERS was walking home from a neighborhood bar at which time he was viciously attacked. He'd married his high school sweetheart the previous year. She was in Chicago at the time. When her calls to his cell phone went unanswered, she contacted police who eventually put 2+ 2 together and advised her that the description of her husband sounded like that of a JOHN DOE who had been admitted to the emergency room of a local hospital after a violent assault had left him in critical shape with bleeding on the brain.
The bums who committed the assault were minors, (who) brutally beat the newlywed man during a robbery. SOWERS died 2 days ago, 9 months after the assault. Comatose most of the time since last June, he never recovered. In a racially charged city like Baltimore, when there' case in which the victim is a different race from the perpetrators, these things are handled 'carefully'. ZACH SOWERS was white; the thugs who killed him are black. The cretins were apphrehended when they were caught using SOWERS' credit cards. The lead bastard had been observed stomping on SOWERS head at the time of the attack. The Baltimore District Attorney' office offered a plea bargain to the little bastards while SOWERS was still alive, so that in case SOWERS died they wouldn't be charged with his murder.

One of Zach's greatest passions was music. In his spare time, he enjoyed working as a DJ and spent many hours perfecting his craft in his basement. Zach was known to all as a perfectionist.
