Me too. Everytime I see her, she's acting like a little diva. Her mannerisms and way of speaking. I don't understand how anyone can find her appealing... and her voice has really gone south. Vh-1 had a Mariah Carey concert special on today. I watched about 30 seconds of it, while flipping through the channels. She was walking around onstage like a delicate flower, in her underwear, butchering the song "Fantasy"...Never heard it but if Mariah sings it, it has to be bad. She annoys the shit out of me!
That is another thing (an important thing).. she has no stage presence as far as I can see. I think she's one of the most boring live performers ever. She walks around the stage very carefully, barely dancing, like she is going to break. She doesn't really get into the song or put any soul into it. It's like she's just trying to get through it without being too off-key.
It's a shame because I loved her the first few years she was out, although even back then I still found her stage presence pretty bland. But I loved her voice.

Speaking for myself, I am a fan of the original songs and original artists... so I went to go hear the damage for myself, lol. (I say it that way, because I didn't for a second expect them to be good, because her voice was long gone at that point... but I didn't expect them to be as bad as they were, either.)
p.s. She actually HAS done decent remakes in the past. For instance, her version of "Without You" is better than Harry Nilsson's version, IMO. That was back during the last year or two that I still liked her. (1994 or so) And "Endless Love" with Luther Vandross was good.

The radio stations in my area that play "pop" had a field day with Mariah's remake of "Bringing on the Heartache" I don't know why it was a terrible remake.
Mariah would be better off to go buy some clothes that fit, that are made for a thirty something woman and start acting like she has some class.
