"Everybody is born, and everybody dies. Being born wasn't so bad , was it?"
Peter the Hermit
Dangit just saw this love Fleetwood Mac
Died in hospital after a short illness. I wonder if it was cancer?
My favorite lead singer of Fleetwood Mac. Liked her better than Stevie! RIP Songbird...
What??? Loved her voice.
I hoped this was just another hoax when I heard it but sadly it wasn't.
I grew up loving them and passed it on to my niece. We had a pact that if they ever toured the UK again, it didn't matter how much it cost, we would be there....
R.I.P.
"Short illness" is usually code for a heart attack.
Songbird is one of my favorites. RIP
Loved her vocals on "You Make Lovin' Fun" as well as "As Long As You Follow". And now a new generation seems to be discovering Christine McVie via that Chevy commercial playing "Everywhere".
May she RIP!
Me To , https://variety.com/2022/music/news/...er-1235445846/ Rest in Peace
Sorry to hear about her death.
Carolyn(1958-2009) always in my heart.
I much favored her over Stevie as well but prefer the Peter Green/Bob Welch era (Christine Perfect was part of a lot of that incarnations' output)
Her COD has been revealed. According to the Death Certificate, the main cause was an Ischemic stroke which is when blood supply to the brain gets interrupted and stops it getting oxygen and nutrients. The secondry cause was an unknown malignant cancer. The last thing listed was atrial fibrillation also known as heart arrhythmia.
