Police near Guthrie, OK made a routine traffic stop the other day.
Or so they thought.
They stopped a vehicle that had an expired license plate, and things quickly got a tad odd as they came face to face with a very interesting guy.
In another world, this guy might be like The Penguin or The Joker - a super criminal, not your ordinary law breaker.
So a routine expired tag stop turned into driving a stolen vehicle.
The stolen vehicle happened to have a Timber Rattlesnake in a box in the backseat.
There also happened to be a handgun in the console of the truck, presumably loaded.
There was also an open bottle of Kentucky Deluxe whiskey.
OK, so you might be thinking, "Well, that all sounds pretty routine..."
Granted, any one or two of those things do make for a routine stop, but taken all together; it's a bit odd.
But the part that really ties it all together into something a tad unusual is that the stolen vehicle with the expired license plate, with the handgun and the rattlesnake and the open bottle of whiskey; also contained a glass vial of radioactive uranium, as some of you might have suspected.
The driver - Stephen Jennings - explained to the officers that he was trying to, "create a super snake".
So then it all made sense, it was pretty routine after all since all the guy had besides the stolen vehicle were the exact items necessary to create yet another Super Snake.
Here's the story:
Stolen truck, expired tag, open whiskey, rattlesnake, handgun, radioactive uranium, awesome snake plans, just a regular day...
