    No one especially the elderly need to keep these large birds in captivity. Look at those claws!

    Cassowaries scare the snot out of me. Never have seen one up close, don't really want to.

    Not in favor of domestic ownership but that is a cool-ass looking bird.
    It can run up to 30 mph and slice you open with one kick of its foot. Yikes. Given those baseball stats I can’t believe it’s legal for them to be in captivity outside of a zoo.
