    ShyLurker, I remember reading recently that you met him when you were a child and you said that he was very nice. It's great to hear when the celebrities are nice people.

    I watched Soap about a month ago. Maybe it's just me but that is one show that didn't aged very well. Heck Billy Crystal alone isn't liked very well among today's gays then you have Chuck & Bob, what have they done lately ?? A teacher going to bed with a student you can find that in a high school in Denver today. Good show but only in the 70s.

    Chester was a bastard. Mandan must've been very secure to play him. Many actors turned down recurring roles like his in the '70s because they were afraid they would be typecast.

    Sad to hear about his death, "soap" always reminded me
    of "Mary Hartman Mary Hartman" back in the late 1970s
    American sitcoms that made fun of soap operas.
    Carolyn(1958-2009) always in my heart.
