My copies of Electric Koolaid Acid Test, Radical Chic and The Right Stuff were dogeared and well thumbed from repeated readings. Loved his style. Then he switched to fiction and for years churned out best sellers better than some of the novelists who do it full time. His collections of essays like The Purple Decade (illustrated throughout with his own accomplished artwork) and Hooking Up are keepers too. He had an amazing career and left quite a legacy.
