Tremendous actor......Loved him in Ed Wood.

    RIP good sir
To my Father. Even though you have crossed the plane, you will always be with me.
You were not just my Father, but my hero. My life has been a poor attempt to be like you
You taught me music, vocals, and how to fight. I can only hope I am half the man you are
When I close my eyes I can see you. And finally, Thank you Dad. for everything.

Mission Impossible and Space 1999 are what I remember him most for. He and Barbara Bain made for a cute and talented couple back in the day. RIP

He certainly had a lot of interesting roles, from Cleopatra and Ed Wood to The Harlem Globetrotters on Gilligan's Island. I have a special fondness for films about the film industry(Singin' in the Rain, Sunset Boulevard, My Geisha et al.) and Ed Wood did a very good job in conveying the ups and downs of the film industry.

You would have to rent Hitchcock's "North By Northwest" to see his big break film. He was an amazing actor. Late in his career, he got the shittiest roles in some awful t.v. comedies. When "Edd Wood" used him as Lugosi, it was his moment to absolutely put it all forward. That was a fantastic performance, sine qua non.
