This guy is every bit as sick and evil as the murderer.

“I think Orlando, Fla., is a little safer tonight,” he told his congregation, equating members of the LGBT community to sexual predators. “The tragedy is more of them didn’t die…. I’m kind of upset he didn’t finish the job!”
Jimenez also said if it were up to him, gays and lesbians would be lined up against a wall so a firing squad could “blow their brains out.”
, said our good Christian preacher.

Personally, I believe that this shooter was motivated more by self loathing than Islamic fervor; just IMO for whatever reason.

Religious indoctrination can really mess some people up. Probably even more so if you hear all your life about homosexuality being a "sin" and what not; and knowing pretty much all of your life that it is who you are; who you were born to be.

Trying to reconcile and repress the way you were created\born with whatever religious beliefs are drilled into you from early on must have the potential to really screw up your head.

All forms of "deity-based" religions are just evil at the core IMO; drilling that crap into the heads of children with stories of satan and hell fire should constitute child abuse.
When you say all forms, I am hope you aren't including wicca/witch, pagan, we don't believe in Satan, or hell, nor doing harm, which are deity based beliefs and religions. Also not all Muslims are terrorists, or commit acts such as this one. I live near a lot of them and chat with a lot of them off and on when I am wandering around University Ave and such here in San Diego, they have been nothing but friendly and I get a peaceful feeling from them.

Truly horrifying. Thank mother earth (while knocking wood) that I am Canadian and while not invulnerable to acts of violence - hopefully this country will never experience it on this scale.

HAPPY PRIDE to ORLANDO and all LGBTQ communities worldwide!!!

The lying BITCH got away with it! "Low IQ", "abused", "Didn't know what was going on behind her back", "was coerced by FBI and feared she'd lose her son"--- MY ASS!

(Amazing that the same negatives that could constitute INSULTS under ordinary circumstances tend to work nicely as defenses in a criminal case. Well, she'd better play SERIOUSLY stupid all the rest of her life, then.)

The best one was that of COURSE she didn't know he was going to shoot up the gay club, because he originally intended to shoot up a Disney location!

And of COURSE she didn't testify, because the prosecutor would have fixed her wagon but good.

If I was a survivor or a victim was my loved one, I would totally be beside myself with RAGE.

Its been awhie but I seem to remember a lot of gay men and women were shocked at how the Muslim religion views homosexuality. A lot of them believed that Muslims like them not hate them. Still like this today. Many gay people actually support Muslims.
