To my Father. Even though you have crossed the plane, you will always be with me.
You were not just my Father, but my hero. My life has been a poor attempt to be like you
You taught me music, vocals, and how to fight. I can only hope I am half the man you are
When I close my eyes I can see you. And finally, Thank you Dad. for everything.

No clue. I'm supposed to go see Schmoozing tonight, but they haven't called me yet. Watch me get in the shower and they call.

Well, I ended up not seeing Schmoo tonight. (See Pet Peeves thread.) I ended up having a peanut butter sandwich, baby carrots, and a string cheese for dinner. Hubby and Little Bit went on a bike ride because Hubby was fit to be tied. (Again, see Pet Peeves thread.) They probably stopped at Taco Bell for supper, because Hubby works there and can at least get him and Little Bit free drinks and a few tacos, or stopped off at his mom's for supper.

That sounds yummy! My hubby wants one of those, but I told him to wait until after we get moved into a house, and then we'd get him one for Father's Day and his birthday, since they're roughly a month apart. An easy recipe for BBQ in the Crock Pot is this: ribs (cut apart) and BBQ sauce, layered, and cooked on low all day long. Yes, I use KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce, preferably Hickory but Hubby likes the bourbon flavor, too.

This gift for my husband is going to have to serve as father's day, his birthday and President's Day every day for about ten years. He designed it himself and had contractors build it. It took about four months and set me back about ten grand. It has burners, a fridge, warming drawers and a sink. If he ever decides to change professions, I think he could make a living selling these man kitchens to guys everywhere. I'm going to try the ribs, they sound delish!!!

Hubby would love one! The ribs in the Crock Pot ARE delish. Hubby happened to be off work the day that I made them, and threatened to call our DFS worker and report me for "husband abuse" because I started the ribs before I left for work, and he was off all day which meant HE had to smell them all day long! LOL! We told our worker this at her visit after that, and she laughed and said she wouldn't have been able to do anything for Hubby. But it made her laugh! In the recipe, though, I used KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce.

Me and a friend went to the cinema tonight and watched The Duff, and before the movie we went to a place called Chang Cheng and ate dinner. I ate:

Appetizer: Tempura King prawns with salad and houses dip
Main course: Deep fried duck with Peking sauce
Dessert: Banana boat with ice cream and chocolate sauce

Canned beef stew and popsycles. Yum! Homemade beef stew would be better, but canned is quicker.

Canned Brunswick stew. Yum! I would love a cup from a BBQ place, but I don't like the way Po' Boys BBQ makes theirs. Too catchup-e and not enough spice, and it has big pieces of potato in it. Yuck.

Several weeks ago one of my coworkers mentioned how they had fish sticks and macaroni for dinner every Friday during Lent when she was a kid, and I was like "oh man, I haven't had fish sticks in forever" and I had to buy a box of fish sticks. After a night or two of just baking them up and eating them I had to think of something else to do with them....
Tonight I threw some in my toaster oven. I put a little "kick it up sauce" (as my mother calls it lol) on a tortilla and put the fish sticks on top of that. Added some coleslaw on top of the fish sticks. Sliced up some avocado and put that on top of the coleslaw. Added a little salt and pepper and wrapped it up. Tasty
Missing my Pa every day. RIP Daddy ❤️♥️

Don't be starving when you get there or you may have to call a taxi to get home. You may buy the whole store. LOL

From where? Sissy cooked us up some and I ate one with the regular condiments and homemade cole slaw, Mexican onion, pickle spear, and for breakfast I had two potted meat and 1 oz of potato chip sammies, and a daily total of 12 popsycles and I came in over 200 calories below my 1200 calorie budget.

Hardee's. I'm having salad tonight. I was supposed to make stuffed cheeseburgers, but the hamburger isn't thawed yet. (Homemade food has less calories than fast food.) And since I tend to not eat a lot of high-calorie food on the weekends, I'll be okay. I eat stuff like scrambled eggs, half a grapefruit, etc.
