    Johnny Weir

    Did you ever have a celebrity keep crossing your mind and don't know why? Lately, with me it's Johnny Weir. (could be a prophetic sign, I hope he'll be fine, I'm sure).

    He's a champion figure skater, He is a self-proclaimed Russophile, who admires the skating style and culture of Russia and taught himself to speak and read the language, fashion designer, who designed outfits for his idol Oksana Baiul. Unlike most figure skaters, he is a clockwise spinner and jumper. (He must be right-handed).

    He's busy in music, fashion, and charities.

    I like Johnny too. I think he did a fab commentary job, He would occasionally make a great, little comment that I took as subtle about the "gayness" of ice dancing. One of the skaters was (IIRC) also a skier at one time. Johnny commented that.....why wear a helmet when you can wear a gorgeous costume instead?!?!?! lol, it was just how he said it. And dont get me started about his wardrobe during the games! At times his flamboyance has been a bit over the top for me but I thought he looked great during the Olympics.

    I adore Johnny, and was able to watch a lot of the daytime figure skating during the Olympics, so I could hear him commentating with Tara Lipinsky and Terry Gannon (I think that's the guy). Soooooo much better than having to watch at night and say "Shut up, Scott Hamilton!" a hundred times.

    I love that he always poses in photos like he's on the red carpet at The Oscars! He did have some fabulous outfits at the Olympics. He put them on Twitter.

    I remember he did a photo shoot wearing high heels a while back. The Christian extremists made a big stink about it. Why can't they just live and let live?

    Did anyone see him on Say Yes to the Dress?? He came in with a friend of his who was shopping for her wedding dress. She wanted his input. He eventually put on a dress too.
