Zakk Wylde's greatest hits. It rawks!
I just got into Simple Minds, and they're my new favorite band (I know, I know, they were big in the mid-80's!!!). They have so many great songs that I never heard, mainly because they weren't as huge here in the US as they were in the UK and Europe. Jim Kerr has such an amazing voice, and he and Charlie Burchill, the guitarist, are still making music and rocking!
Two of their earlier works, "New Gold Dream" and "Sparkle in the Rain" are gorgeous, seminal works.

Well- I usually make special mix cds for the van..in fact they are usually titled Van Mix 1- Van Mic 2, Roadtrip 1...well you get the idea. I have a lightscribe burner on the computer, so I burn pictures of my van- from some epic roadtrip or somesuch, usually with pics of me and my friends in them, on the CD.
That way when some lowlife steals my cd's- I can catch them.
<shaking perpetrator senseless>
"What do you mean these aren't my CDs scum sucking...uh...scum!!
They have my freakin picture on them!!!"
<stomps perpetrator and walks away>
But when I do put original CDs in the van..and they stay in there the duration of the trip only..

Well, there has to be an oddball in every crowd. The rest of you can relax - - I'm here to cover the quota. I'm currently listening to a mix CD of tracks by an Italian singer named Zucchero. About half of the tracks are in Italian, which I don't speak or understand. He's a good enough singer to be worth listening to in any language.

I just got a new cd/radio player in my car. I finally got rid of the one with the weird tape stuck in the casette player for 4 or 5 years. It finally died. But, I don't know how the new cd player works yet and the buttons are very tiny. I was listening to His Infernal Majesty (HIM) when the old one broke, but fortunately, I saved the CD - got it out undamaged. So, I will be playing Ville Valo (HIM) when I figure out how to use the new cd player.
I make mixed tapes. The one in there now has:
GNR- Rocket Queen
GNR- Night Train
AIC- Dirt
AIC- Rain when i die
Aerosmith- walk this way
ACDC- shook me
acdc- back in black
iron maiden- number of the beast
