Hope it goes well for you. Bourdain has a strong loyal audience, and I'm one who has enjoyed No Reservations for several years.

Go to their website and click on the Videos tab, michi. You can see it there. If the episode hasn't been added yet, you can still see clips from it. Those were up yesterday.

Yeah, wasn't it interesting? He made a vague reference to it being haunted, but the hotel would have blew a nerve if he pointed out it was Belushi's death room

Watched it last night, it was so much fun! It would have been better with more Scott, though, because Anthony really seemed up on his haggery!

    Freaked him out with Dekkar!

Oh and for anybody who'd like to watch the show on their phone but wants to see it in a compressed format so it doesn't suck up their data allowance, The Travel Channel has posted it on youtube. Just type anthony bourdain+layover into the search there and the 42 minute LA episode will come right up.

Thanks for this. The other website wouldn't show me the video. I was saying words that even I can't repeat here.

I am so damn hungry now . . . and they haven't even gotten to the deathhagishness yet!

OK, I had to skip over the food stuff because I was dying here. He should have spent a lot more time with Scot.

I know, right? I'm a food professional and love Anthony Bourdain's shows but was thinking the same thing.

It's too bad he couldn't go more into the "haunted" bungalow haggishness. I'd have liked to hear more of his take on it. But I can see how he wouldn't want to get blackballed by his favorite hotel too.

Scott, I think you should pitch a show to the travel channel - "Places & stories of the Dead & Famous - Hosted by Scott Michaels, DDH (Doctor of Death Haggery)"

I don't think your show would be nearly as bad as some of the shit Andrew Zimmern eats....;-)

Cool episode. Made me laugh that Bourdain is a real Death Hag!

Seriously Scott, considering all the crap on the tube, any show you do would be like cream rising to the top. I wouldn't miss one episode!

I watched it again last night on the Travel Channel.

Watch Anthony Bourdain's face when Scott is talking about Albert Dekker. When he says "c*cksucker written on his chest".

    LMFAO!!!!!

We should show some love for Scott by having a contest to name a new reality show.

Of course all entries would become the property of our fearless leader (since we're doing this out of love, right?) and his decision would be final.

What would be the prize? Bragging rights and the adulation of your fellow hags . . . the same as any other post.

If the show really was on the Travel Channel, I would be partial to "Departing Daily with Scott Michaels", but I'm sure I'll think of something better.

Who else is game? Tally ho!

Thank you for the heads up! I caught it on On Demand under "Travel Channel". Great segment, and I agree with you all- not long enough! Love looking at all the eats, though.

Great segment. The best was the trivia on anything he brought up, that shows depth.
