    Abandoned Russia

I just stumbled across this gallery of images from an abandoned brain research facility in Moscow.

"These guys penetrated the abandoned and sealed science lab of Russian Army which conducted sophisticated experiments studying human and animal brains. They got a lot photos of many test samples in an abandoned state but still excellent condition. You can see even the last Soviet leader Gorbachev that was left in rush - it was the time of his rule when the lab was closed and sealed from civilians."

That was creepy. Brains and eyes in jars? Check. I can't help but feel bad for the animals, though. What a fantastic post, DisneyStacy. Thanks!

Very creepy! I wonder what animals those are at the bottom of the page. Baby rabbits? Rats?

I don't even want to think about where they got the brains; it was the USSR after all.

Anyhow, let's say some person wants to give their body "to science" for future doctors to learn their craft.... then their body parts end up in jars like so much giardiniera on the shelves at an Italian restaurant. Just yuck! I hope they incinerate that.
