Due to time zones, it is officially your birthday and my birthday at the same time. Duel (the one that means two, not the one with guns or swords...) celebration next year at the Luxor? Or will we have missed the deal on Orbitz by then?

Dual celebrations at the Luxor next year could be arranged. There will be new deals on Orbitz, too, as a briefly underbooked Strip tries to lure in suckers, I mean patrons, into the gaming establishments.

This bit of info has been FAD knowledge since around late Oct of 2007.

Instead of a one night stand, I'd rather think of this. I really wouldn't entertain the idea of a one night stand. But I'd love to hang out with McMorbid, Jason (despite his ego), Neil, Barbossa (he's gone though), Cynful, and I'm VERY sure a few others, I'm just drawing a blank.

That's terrible! I love it on here. I'd hate it if I was made to feel so uncomfortable that I had to leave.

Of course, I haven't seen GuiltyLittleDeathHag on here since I said she was my crush. Purely a coincidence, I'm sure! LOL

No, that's the late Christopher Jones in his definitive role as Max Frost in "Wild in the Streets" (1968).

My profile picture is real, though.

We really had an FAD Forum love connection? So cool! The Helter Skelter tour is very conducive to that sort of thing. Scott is a great tour guide. His office is full of death hag collectibles. I'm trying to get my husband to take a day off to go on the other tour, since I've done the Helter Skelter tour with a friend. The huz and I still have a crush on each other, after 22 years. I do imagine what it would be like to meet all of you though.

Thanks! Yeah, I've been married 22 years, 5 of them happy. lol kidding. I met my husband when he came to my apartment to fix my telephone. He was my phone man. Later, he called to make sure my phone was working. He called again later that evening, and the next day... Silly story, but we like it.

Great story.....something to hand down to the young ones!
To my Father. Even though you have crossed the plane, you will always be with me.
You were not just my Father, but my hero. My life has been a poor attempt to be like you

You are lucky! I wish I could find someone. The pickings are slim around here. And my FAD hubby is married in real life . But he's happily married and that makes me happy!

FADAddict, you'll find someone, you're a young pretty lady. In LA you'd be scooped up in no time. Yeah, back in my day you had more opportunities, now everything is done on-line, you hardly have to leave the house. I met my first husband in high school, I had a boyfriend I met at an antique store, and one that I met in rehab. All of those were bad ideas. I seem to be a weirdo magnet, so don't take advice from me. Mcafgr is right, someone is looking for you right now.

That would be a fun time, you with me, Aviatrix and Cindy. We'd have a lot of fun!

Awww, how sweet! I met my hubby at work, we used to work at Hardee's together. He and I hated each other at first sight. Then a year or two after we met, he got hit by a truck while he was crossing the street to come to work.

He was in the hospital for several days, and called up to work to talk to everyone. The phone got put in my hand, and well, I couldn't be a bitch. The guy was in the hospital with a broken leg, broken thumb, and other injuries.

I put my bitchiness aside, talked to him. After that, the hatred started to dissipate and we gradually became friends. I became his boss. In February of 97, I got offered a better job more in my field of study. I accepted the job and promptly quit Hardee's.

Four hours after I quit, he came knocking on my door. He was so nervous he stumbled over his words, unable to take his eyes off his shoes. How could I say no? He was so shy he was cute.

And the rest is history. Schmoo came along in 98, after the doctor told me I'd never have children due to the physical damage my past caused. We married in 02, and Little Bit came along in 03.

Thank you so much. It doesn't feel that way but hopefully someone will come along.

We would have a blast! So much fun. And thanks for the pep talk. I live in a really small town, so that doesn't help. I'm sure LA would be great.
