And dry clean only !
I had never seen Cleopatra until last weekend. I was blown away by what a great bod she had. She was ridiculously beautiful.

Speaking of Cleopatra, I found out a little bit of trivia at the weekend and I figured I would post it since it is linked to Elizabeth.
There was a series of comedy films in the 60s/70s called Carry on that was basic slapstick comedy where they would send up various films and themes. Cleopatra had just finished filming in the studios they were going to use for their next film and the sets were still standing so they scrapped the film they were going to do and decided to do a send up of Cleopatra called Carry On Cleo. A lot of the original costumes from the film was used as well.
She was a pretty woman. I think I'll find a biography or an autobiography of her and Bette Davis.
That photo looks like its from "Suddenly Last Summer" - which is one wild movie - cannibalisim, homosexual excess and lobotomies.
It's one of my favorites... Katherine Hepburn and Elizabeth pull out all the stops in this one !
Today you could be standing next to someone who is trying their best not to fall apart. So whatever you do today, do it with kindness.
And Katharine Hepburn spit on Joe Mankiewicz when it wrapped because he had been so cruel to Monty Clift.
"Suddenly Last Summer" is not on Netflix so I looked on Amazon and its not on their "Instant Video" section but its available to steam instantly for $2.99, so that's what I'll do. Hopefully soon! I read the reviews and the Wiki page and it really does look amazing.

I could see her doing that ! Poor Monty, he was never the same after the accident. God, he was drop dead gorgeous before that happened. It's hard for me to watch Raintree County and see the difference in his face.

Today would have been Liz's 85th birthday.
By my troth, I care not; a man can die but once; we owe God a death.... He that dies this year is quit for the next.

Nice photo of when Marlene visited the set of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? I don't believe I've seen Elizabeth look starstruck like this at anyone else.
