Her comedic talent is limited. What I've found occasionally funny is her panel.

I think she does suck the most important thingie John. I would like her shoe more if she would cut down on the shrill guests. They talk at a frequency only dogs can her.

SUCKS-big time. I don't even find her slightly amusing. Nearly every time I attempt to find something decent to watch on TV, I flip through channel after channel of people who make me wonder how in the hell they got there. Apparently talent is optional these days.

She's ok. I thought her first book was pretty funny. Haven't decided on her TV show though. I think she is a walking advertisement for not drinking too much vodka though, I can't believe she is only 33 (maybe 34 now).

That's where I get my impressions of her from, tv. I watched an episode of her show one time and it was very, 'Aren't I just hilarious?'. Answer: No. You're actually a bit cloying.

Yeah, the excess drinking has taken it's toll on her appearance I'd say. Or maybe it's too much sun on a fair-skinned person. But she looks at least ten years older than 35 in non-airbrushed photos or on tv. Very Real Housewives of ...., in fact.

I like Chelsea a lot, but I like it when Ross Matthews fills in for her on her show. That guy makes me laugh really hard.

There is just something about her humor that grates on my last nerve. I was shocked when her show was renewed for a second year and I am still shocked that she is around.

I rarely ever watch her, but about a month ago Dave Grohl (Nirvana, Foo Fighters) hosted the show for the week and I loved it! He had Elton John on and he's so funny.

I wish I was half as clever as she thinks she is. She must be able to suck a golf ball through a garden hose or she would have no career. She isn't funny, just mean. I know celebrities are fair game but it can be done is such a way as to make people laugh rather than cringe. I know there are people out there who like her but they are seeing something I have missed.

Chelsea Handler is proof that tragedy begets comedy. Some of the funniest and wittiest people I know had horrible life experiences.

She is a mess. Most of the time she seems like she is either drunk or on something. She is not that funny most of the time and seems to have limited talent. I think it is another case where they would take her show off but they don't have anything to replace it with.

I completely agree. I just don't like her style of humor because she usually makes cruel comments about other people. She has had several books on the NY Times Best Seller list. I bought one just to see what all the fuss was about and it was neither funny or even interesting. Her style of writing was very juvenile and again, cruel toward other people. Even when she was writing about stupid things she did while drunk, she was incredibly mean to herself. I think she has a lot of pain and anger inside of her.

Exactly! That is why I think her panelists are funnier than she is. You're right, she comes across as a miserable, mean person and that's why she doesn't make me laugh.

I knew girls like this growing up and all through life. They don't scare or annoy me. She knows she has good writers and comedians themselves. That's why they are part of the round table. They all laugh on the way to the bank, Chuy even got some porn shorts.
