Man, this sucks. While I knew pancreatic cancer is tough to beat, it was still sad to hear he passed. He was not only a talented actor, but a good person as well. RIP Patrick.

we knew it was coming but somehow I hoped he would win the fight. A lot of respect for the guy, who seemed pretty cool as well as fantastically handsome and graceful. I know he was involved in several charity efforts (one was through horseback riding, I believe?) in a low-key way rather than trying to get points.

Condolences to his friends and family, including his loving wife of many years (a rarity in Hollywood as we know).

This is a day we've hated to see coming, but we knew it was inevitable. Patrick Swayze showed great strength, refusing to give in and fought cancer like a tiger. He was a talented man and he had class.

My sister loved taking dance classes with him and I enjoyed both his acting and dancing.

    Safe journey.
