A 17 year old Ohio girl from a Muslim family runs away to an evangelical Christian family in Florida she met on Facebook after converting to Christianity claiming her father threatened her with and was planning an honor killing of her due to her conversion. Legal chaos ensues.
What are youre thoughts on this?

I question the reasoning and logic behind most 17 year olds, let alone one who runs off to live with a family she met on Facebook. The church has no business stepping in for this girl's parents. While I realize honor killings happen, I'd be willing to bet that this family came to America for a better life, one that did not include honor killings. Teenagers can be very unreasonable and I think this girl is full of shit. If she's not, then I'll eat my words.
