Most Japanese I've known are soooo reserved their leaders seem to balance this out a bit. I wouldn't be surprised if she isn't poking fun at the Western World a bit.

Yup. I'm sure she will say this when they meet, and I'm sure he'll *koff* understand. Firstly, because he's an effing whackjob, and secondly because he walks on water here, and earns shedloads of money from it all.

I don't know that our leaders are all that eccentric...naww, they're just everyday ordinary corrupt politicians. baw haw haw!

But nutjob wife or not (and the UFO bit flies totally below the radar here, btw), this is a very rare case where the LDP, the ruling party here, got tossed out on its collective ass. People are hoping for good things.
