I knew it was coming...
woah that's surprising (to me anyway)
I remember watching him on TV as a kid. He had such a good voice and a bit of comedic wit. Was he still married to Edie Gorme? I wonder how she is doing?
Sharted and split...curiously, my Mom might be a bit happier today. Long story, hard to explain...

RIP Robert.
Man, holy crap...(another person where you shouldn't be surprised but you are...)
A great entertainer. He had a lot of good innings. RIP
I meant I shouldn't be surprised he died, especially since he was sick, but I guess I just didn't expect him to kick it so soon...or I thought that he'd recover, ah well, I can still only think of the Will Ferrell "Coconut Bangers Ball: It's a Rap!" sketch when I think of him...well, that and Beetlejuice.
This is so sad ... he was a great entertainer with a great voice. He will be missed.
So at 3 p.m., when my blood sugar gets low, its safe to assume that Robert Goulet will no longer mess up the shit on my desk.
I'll miss the guy...classy old school Hollywood. RIP.
I bet he was in alot of pain?
At least he is now at peace!!
Such a sad way to go though! The man makes his living singing and in the end he can't say a word!!!
Thats fucked up folks!!!
I wasn't much of a fan of his but I feel bad for the guy!!!
I remember goulet as a kid from his tv show. I always liked the guy. rip
Such a shame he had to wait too long for a transplant.
RIP Robert. What a voice he had.
They said that he needed a lung transplant a couple of days ago.He just bought the farm today.
I heard he use to beat up Carol Lawrence when they were married....
They go in 3's...Porter, Robert - I wonder who's next?
Lung transplant? Did he smoke?
Now who is going to mess with my stuff at 3pm??
I remember when he and his then wife, Carol Lawrence,
were frequent guests on the Merv Griffin Show back when
Nixon and Ford were Presidents.
Gee, I must be getting old...
That's sad, but not surprising. I thought he was cool because he actually didn't take himself seriously. Man, now there's no cool lounge singers anymore.
Robert was a personality in my life and many others.
If you ever watched the Muppets you would know who he is.
Boy, they just don't linger like they used to.
Whenever I hear anything about Robert Goulet I always think about that scene in the mini series "Elvis & Me" when Elvis shoots out the tv when Robert is on....anyway, RIP
Did anyone see Robert sing at the NASCAR event at Las Vegas in 2004? It was so tacky but I loved it anyway.
How sad He was a Hansome and talented man..........cedars claims another one.....so many stars have died there.I didnt know this till my grandma told me that he was trying to get citzenship with canada at the time of his death.Alot of good looking people come from (we wont mention the fugly ones) canada lol......poor guy.
I just heard on the news this morning that Robert Goulet has passed away while waiting for a lung transplant. The news report said that he was hoping for a new lung so he could hit the high notes when he was 100. Was just reading the "sad last days" thread yesterday, and someone had mentioned that he was their pick for who's going next. So sad, always thought that besides a wonderful singing voice, he had a wonderful sense of humor.
I posted a new thread, didn't see this one. Sorry.
Didn't see the other thread about him, sorry.
I heard this morning number two on our list..
I love the Emerald Nuts commercial with Mr. Goulet. Pretty damn funny. Here's the link for it: http://www.wildsound-filmmaking-feed...ommercial.html
I was surprised by his passing, I didn't realize how bad he had gotten.
The survival of everyone on board depends on just one thing: finding someone on board who can not only fly this plane, but who didn't have fish for dinner.

Only knew his face... never knew his talent. R.I.P. Find A Death will gather your story shortly I'm guessing.
He was quite a looker in his younger days.....
Only really knew him from that episode of the Simpsons, where he ends up playing a gig in Bart's treehouse and sings the 'Jingle Bells, Batman Smells, Robin laid a' egg' song. Did he act in one of the Naked Gun films, or am I thinking of somebody else?
I wonder who will send out all the Christmas cards now.
Hmm, not sure about Chef Tell being one of the 3. My money is on Mickey Rooney. Heard he wasn't doing so well as of late.
