Oh Where Oh Where Could My Baby Be

    When I woke up
    The rain was pouring down
There were people standing all around
Something warm falling into my eyes
But some how I found my baby that night
    I lifted her head
she looked at me and said
Hold me darling just alittle while
    I held her close
I kissed her our last kiss
I found the love I knew I had missed
    but now she's gone
even though I hold her tight
I lost my love, my life that night

Oh where oh where could my baby be
The lord took her away from me
She's gone to heaven so I've got to be good
So I can see my baby when I leave this world

Most anything by Billy Joel. I didn't appreciate his talent back in the 70's. It was years later that I discovered the wit. "You may be right, I might be crazy" is brilliant. "Allentown" too.
I didn't listen to him then because I had the perception that he was "punk". I didn't listen to The Talking Heads until years after their demise and found much of their music entertaining. Same with Queen; I thought they were glam; but Freddie was a very talented singer.

Song that makes you feel great

What song, when you listen to it, can make you feel great without fail? You know the one--that no matter what kind of mood you're in, it will make you feel better.

For me, I'd have to say Kiss My Love Goodbye by L.A. Guns. That song always cheers me up.

    How about you?
