Prank Phone Calls

To be honest I did it a couple of times when I was a kid, sort of like Bart Simpson does on the tv show The Simpsons lol! When I was a young divorced woman, there was this nut case I met one time (this was more like stalking) he would call me at my job then the ass somehow got my phone number and say really weird and stupid things to me. Then a friend came over to watch my baby girl while I went out, the nut called while I was gone whatever she said to him probably scared the shit out of him and he never called again. Oh and I did report this to the cops but they didn't do much of anything to stop it.

When my husband was in rehab, I got a phone call, it sounded like it was from a bar and I believe it was from some of my husbands drinking buddies. They apparently set the phone down so everyone could tell me how horrible it was that my husband was getting help. HELLO! my hubby tried to commit suicide over his problems and a judge sent him to get help. Thank God he did otherwise he would be dead now. He has been sober & no longer gambles it has been about 3 years.

Yes. My best friend and I pranked our neighbor (an adult) as a birthday "gag". We did the ole' "is your refrigerator running" bit. She did not know it was us and was PISSED! We heard words coming out of her mouth that we had never heard before!

Yeah, as kids my best friend and I randomly dialed numbers one weekend and told whoever answered that they would win a $10 gift certificate to a local record store if they answered our question correctly (the question was "Who sings 'I Love Rock and Roll'?") One very elderly lady said she didn't know any new music, and could she have a different question, so we asked her who sang "Swanee" and pretty much hung up on her because we were laughing so hard. The radio stations in town started telling listeners that if they got this call, it wasn't real and the record store really wasn't giving away gift certificates. I think we were in the 7th grade.

When the tecnology came about and you could do 3-way calling, I used to look up numbers of people who had 2 phone lines/same address (like a teenager and the parents) and use the three-way calling to call both numbers. It was hard as hell to keep quiet in the background while they were trying to figure out what was going on at 3 am. I used to prank call alot...

I haven't done a prank call since sixth grade slumber parties, but they certainly made us all giggle madly. Something we liked to do even better was call the local porn theater and listen to the recording describing the movies showing there. Yeah, we were easily entertained.

Then I haven't grown up....its only a small group of us that do it, but its not as fun anymore with call return, caller ID, etc.

Love LOVED Jerky Boys..my husband had a tape back in the day..absolutely hilarious..There was one about a Dentist pulling I believe an Indian guys tooth..so funny!

When ever a new person is hired on.. I take one of those pink pads "while you were away".. and put down Myra Maines called.. please call back asap.. then you put the number of a local funeral parlor on it....

Also do it with any phone number with the message "My Dixie Wrecked"....
