    Help remembering a movie

    Hey all!

I remember a movie I watched several years ago. It was an older movie probably from the 50ish era (I think it was black and white). It was about a little girl around 6-9 years old and she was a killer but her mom would not believe she was a killer. She killed a little girl for (something? ..like a toy or a bike?) then she killed an older drunk maintenence man who took care of her building because he found some evidence....like a shoe or something. If anyone knows the name of this movie please help. I cannot remember who was in it either.

    TIA

I watched a newer version of that when i was a teenager and it was spooky. There was one part where she beat this little boy with her shoes to drown him because she wanted a medal he got. That is one of those movies that stays with you.

I hated Nancy Kelly's (The mom) performance at first, but the more I watched it, the more I realized she did a great job as a woman who's world is quickly falling apart.

    'The Bad Seed'
    It started as a novel(I think),became a play and then a movie.
The actress who played the girl is named Patty Mccormack and still acts(she was in the tv show 'The Ropers' also!)
She was in a couple of horror films that were about a mother who was alot like a grown-up version of the little girl character from 'The Bad Seed'
    'Mommy's Day' and 'Mommy's Day 2'

The first one is where a little girl discovers her mother is a sociopath/psychopath.
They were also novels-I don't know if they are still in print or not. They were
    entertaining films.

Name this movie - toy family thinks they are real, lightening bolt emblem?

Those are the things I remember: a family of robots if you will doesn't realize they are toys & they slowly forget things & get slow & tired. Then they realize everything they own has the same lightening bolt emblem on it.

At the end a boy takes out the toy house to play& sees he forgot to turn off the toys & the batteries ran out. Spooky! I loved it when I was little. I don't know if it a movie or an episode of "Twilight Zone." or something. It's driving me crazy.

They think they are trapped somehow b/c they can't get outside - there are walls outside the doors & windows. At the end we see it's b/c their house in in a cupboard.

I assume this was live action. It sounds like a great idea for a story. Do you remember anybody that was in it?

ok it was an episode of a show called "Hammer House of Mystery & Suspence" The episode was called "Child's Play" here's the description...

First Aired: Friday May 2, 1986

A family wakes up one morning and discovers that they are trapped in their home by a mysterious and unbreakable brick wall, and their water and telephone have been cut off. An intense heat comes over the house as well. The TV reception has been replaced by some sort of emergency signal for which the symbol is a lightning bolt (which is also the symbol on all their clothes and food products as well as their car). They begin losing feeling in their bodies and losing their memories as well. Soon enough, they cannot remember any life at all outside the house. All this time, a green blob has been forming in another room, slowly stalking the family.

YaY!!! I'm gonna see if i can find a clip....
