What were they doing down there during monsoon season ??
One diver who was rescuing them has already died. The weird thing is somewhere along the line someone claimed he was American so a fair amount of people on Twitter were giving him props saying they were proud to be American and this is a reason to stand rather than kneel and be a traitor. It didn't take long for others to question why they brought politics into it and were answered with insults. Eventually, it was confirmed the diver was acually from Thailand and while some rectified the mistake, others did nothing.Quote:

I think what confused a lot of people about the diver was the use of the phrase "Navy Seal," underscoring the fact he was a member of the Thailand Navy group. Many Nations have their own version of SOG's.
I have been following this story. So glad they got four boys out. Hoping they get the rest of them out. What a nightmare. I hate caves.
And yes, why would you take all these young boys deep into a cave in monsoon season?

Now 8 boys in total have been rescued. That leaves 4 still in the cave, along with their coach. Rescue operations have been suspended for the day.

I had serious doubts about the outcome of this whole situation, looks like I may be wrong. I all but lost hope when the Navy Seal guy didn't make it.
