That's what I want to know!

I'm listening to HLN; they're saying five people are dead and the airport shut down.

Happened in a baggage claim, which don't require security check points

Baggage claim is the most vulnerable area if you just want to walk in and mow people down. Unless there is a spat of weather related delays, then it's crowded everywhere. There will be a day when it will be a necessary change to the basic airport model. Screening of everybody that walks through the front door. Air Cargo is another weak point for access to the ramp area.

Inspired, but I think it potentially goes deeper. His brother was on the news saying he had major PTSD from the war, and even sought government help an care. He was hospitalized and treated for four days and released. Four days does't fix PTSD. Afte that he was ignored.

Establishing a mental-health defense in advance, because gosh darn it, he didn't want to die after all the fun of killing, like most of the rest of such shooters (with whatever motive)?
Plus he gets to blame government bureaucracy on top of it.

I'm getting more and more cynical but I can totally see this happening.

My coworker was there. They had to lay motionless after throwing their luggage over top of their children.
I can't even imagine how terrifying that would be

Santiago pleads not guilty - this guy appears to be mentally ill. More like Jared Loughner than any political motivation
