This might not be the worst song I ever heard, but it is spectacularly craptastic in its own way.

Cherokee People, Cherokee Pride - Paul Revere and the Raiders

    The lyrics make me LOL:
They took the whole Cherokee nation
    Put us on this reservation
Took away our ways of life
The tomahawk and the bow and knife
    Took away our native tongue
And taught their English to our young
And all the beads we made by hand
    Are nowadays made in Japan

    Cherokee people, Cherokee tribe
So proud to live, so proud to die

They took the whole Indian nation
    Locked us on this reservation
Though I wear a shirt and tie
Iā??m still part redman deep inside

    Cherokee people, Cherokee tribe
So proud to live, so proud to die

But maybe someday when they learn
Cherokee nation will return, will return, will return, will return,
    will return

I love country music, but I'm starting to lose all patience/respect for the genre.

(I won't even post the links to the songs. If you're that masochistic, than go hard.)

Lately we have such lyrical gems as:

"...and a little bit later/I might just get lucky/with my drinking buddy"

"I'm gonna marry for money/be so damned rich it ain't funny"

And let's not even mentioned little miss Taylor "horny lovesick teenager" Swift.

If that weren't bad enough, these oldies pop up:

"So I made her the queen of my doublewide trailer/with the polyester curtains and the redwood deck/now she's run off and I've got to trail her/damn her black heart and her pretty red neck"

    or

"There's a tear in my beer/cuz I'm crying for you dear"

Brooks and Dunn are retiring. That ought to be my cue to stick rock.

The new piece of crap by the "Black Eye Peas".....I was watching those idiots on Thursday before the NFL opener and they were singing it. I've heard it twice and I am convinced that a 12 year old wrote the lyrics for them. It is absolutely the worst garbage I have ever heard.....

Think back to a time (very early 90's) when they dressed small children in large overalls with only one buckle fastened and made them thrust their hips inappropriately and rap about playgrounds......

That piece of human sewage called " Whoop There It Is." 1994? I just hear these rappers saying that crap. Like 100 times. That is the worst thing ever recorded by human beings. If they want to make everyone kill themselves.Just keep playing that song. We'll all find bridges. They ought to be ashamed of themselves having had recorded and released crap like that. Total unadulterated crap.

I was soft inside, there was somethin' going on
You do something to me that I can't explain
Hold me closer and I feel no pain

    Tender love is blind

Too deep in love and we got no way out
    And the message is clear
This could be the year for the real thing
    No more will you cry
