    Boy George

Did You Really Want to Hurt Him?
Posted Feb 28th 2008 1:03PM by TMZ Staff
The 46-year-old resurfaced at a London courthouse on Thursday -- to deny charges that he falsely imprisoned a male escort by chaining him to a wall in his home last April.

George was granted bail and will stand trial in November.

He doesn't look quite so androgenous these days.

Of course; I've aged a day or two since then as well.

I have always loved Boy George and would still pay to go and see him today. Poor thing, so sad to see him fall apart like that. I hope he gets his shite together. Love this one -

The guy in the wedding singer who dresses and sings only 1 CC song is hilarious.

I wonder what ever happened to Marilyn....

I guess George wanted to make sure that escort wasn't the "man who got away"...some people will do anything to keep from being lonely.

Heck, at least he wasn't stalking the guy...

Can't help but love his music, no matter how off his rocker he's become.

Ahhhh. Many people hated Miss Boy. Personally I think he was one of the best things to happen to the 20th century. I respect your opinion its okay by me. I would really appreciate your view more if you understood the cultural context from which his style and philosophy originated. Watch these great links to a BBC doco provided by another fab poster here on this great forum!

I like his singing, not him personally.

I saw a clip somewhere of Boy George at Live Aid all coked out of his head. Anyone seen that one?

I put Boy George right there with Tupac and Kurt Cobain. I can never believe their celebrity or their popularity. I know, I know, that Tupac and Cobain's legends have grown due to their deaths but Boy George???....Chama, Chama, Chama, Come On! Just my opinion though. To those that adore the "boy wonder"....go right ahead.

His music was OK, I just couldn't stand to look at him. I always felt embarrassed for him.
He had the most unkind things to say about Dolly Parton and the Queen of England.
I guess he's just getting a little "Karma Karma Karma"..................

I love that man's singing voice, loved him dressed up and I just wish he would quit it with these hi jinks and get back to singing.

Hey, it was the 80's...lotsa weird stuff going on, comming off the 60's and 70's.

I liked a lot of his music...didn't even realize he was a guy, until about the second album.

    Liked the Thompson Twins, too.

P, Ich...weren't you guys in diapers, about that time?

    You silly youngsters...and your obsessions.

    Ever watch "The Young Ones"?

I'll have to post a clip.

Boy George is (or was) a remarkable talent, I would love to see him perform. That clip with Dolly Parton, was more surreal than watching David Bowie with Bing Cosby.

Ich, if I tag along, will you be "gentle?

    Best to all!
