    Sorry to see Charles pass. He was very funny in a deadpan sort of way.
    The reason a dog has so many friends is because he wags his tail instead of his tongue.

    Sorry to hear about his death, so enjoyed him in the
    film : Clifford (1994) with Martin Short.
    Also remember he had a talk show on CNBC back
    in the early 1990s.

    I'm always surprised at the age of people that I would never guess is that old now. I really liked him. I like his type of humor far more than say Will Ferrell. (I'm not saying anything against people who like Ferrell, to each their own).

    So true about his age being 86 thought he looked so younger when he died.

    He was really funny in "The Muppet Movie."

    I was surprised at his age, also. Clifford is one of my most watched films, and it's the first thing I think of whenever I hear his name.

    I was surprised at his age, he certainly didn't look it! A great actor, he was wonderful in the Kevin Kline film Dave. RIP Charles.

    He also played Lily Tomlin's husband in the movie, "The Incredible Shrinking Woman".
