Not to compare apples to oranges, but she's like Agnes Moorehead - both had long careers and many wonderful roles, but each will be "best-remembered" for one role. Inga Swenson played the comical nemesis on Benson. Next time The Miracle Worker is on TCM, check her out, she played Helen Keller's mom. She and her husband celebrated their 70th (!) wedding anniversary this past February.

Incredible what a career she had. Always remember her as Gretchen Krauss because she was so great in that role.
