Submarine Goes Missing While On Expedition To Titanic.

A five-person crew on a submersible named Titan, owned by OceanGate Expeditions, submerged on a dive to the Titanic wreckage site Sunday morning, and the crew of the Polar Prince research ship lost contact with the sub about an hour and 45 minutes later, the U.S. Coast Guard said Monday afternoon.
The sub was lost in an area about 900 miles east of Cape Cod, in the North Atlantic, in water with a depth of about 13,000 feet.
A Coast Guard official said the people aboard included an operator and four mission specialists — a term the company uses for its passengers. Hamish Harding, a British billionaire and adventure traveler, is reportedly among the group, but the Coast Guard has not released the identities of those missing.

I hope they find them and bring them up safely.

They now have around 50 hours of oxygen remaining. I pray that they locate them and bring them to safety!!!

I can't even imagine what they must be going through. I hope they will be brought back to safety.

I'm hearing they run out of oxygen at noon today. Even if the sub is FOUND, getting the occupants out in time seems unlikely. So sickening.

I know this is breaking my heart, I would say it's a recovery mission now not a rescue.

All are believed to be dead now, apparent implosion, per CNN.

Implosion was what I was thinking happened. I mean...that sub looked like a tin can to me. But I am no expert. At least I guess that was a quick death.

They are now saying it had imploded on Sunday. James Cameron said death would have been instant. Still a terrible way to go. RIP.

I just saw that on yahoo news...the only thing I am relieved about is that they weren't trapped in there and running out of air and dying that way, I hope it was quick for them. May they rest in peace and I hope that company is shut down, I hope, even though they all signed waivers that the families sue that company and ruin them.

My Stepdad was watching television this morning and he told me that CNN is saying that their submersible has imploded - killing all onboard. :'(
