Scott was just talking about him last night during his Live Chat about when he met him. I remember listening to a podcast a year or so back and they did a deep dive on the books and managed to talk to a few people who were around them. Unsurprisingly, they also came to the conclusion that the majority of his claims were BS yet we still read them anyway.

I read once a lot of those stories were urban legend long before the books came out. Hollywood has been trying to sweep their dirty secrets under the rug for decades, so I would say there is probably more truth then fiction in them. Regardless, they are much more fun to read as he wrote them. RIP Kenneth.

There were plans for a film based on the life of Lupe Velez that never got off the ground. Everyone was speculating on the ending naturally. Rose McGowan was supposed to star in a film called Black Oasis about Susan Cabot that also fell apart. That would have been interesting.
