    Joe Lara (90's TV Tarzan)

He was in a remake of Tarzan in the 90's. The only Tarzan remake that had a Tarzan who was prettier than Jane. If Playgirl or gay porn made a soft-core Tarzan movie, he probably would've been The Choice back in the day. I believe it lasted only one season. The show must've been similar to what Patsy Stone referred to as "recycled vomit": someone pukes up a horrible idea that fails, then someone else recatagorizes it, shoves it up their own ass and vomits it out as a so-called new idea.

He left the jungle for Jesus and married a Christian-based diet guru who encouraged people to sober up and lose weight. Do all so-called Christian women on TV exclusively hire hairstylists who graduated from the "Jack-it to Jesus" beauty academy? Tammy Faye, Jan Crouch, this woman .......

A total of seven people died in their private airplane crash into a lake.

If you have time Dave you might research celebrities who have died in small plane crashes. It's getting to the point I don't even like to look at small craft.

Looks as if Wikipedia has the most-detailed listing of famous casualties, including non-celebrities. It includes year of death, location, possible cause of death and type of aircraft.

JFK's brother, sister, son, daughter in law and daughter in law's sister all died in plane crashes.

Sometimes I think it has to do with people needing to get somewhere quickly and either the weather or the pilot is not right. In the case of Jim Croce, the pilot really wasn’t right.

And the cause of Otis Redding's crash is still unknown.

I was thinking to myself, we've been flying for about 100 years, so why do so many people still die in plane crashes? Haven't we had time to iron out all the wrinkles? Then I remembered people. I believe these crashes are mostly caused by the people- poor piloting, inexperienced or not trained (properly rated), complacency, poor maintenance on the craft. I imagine the same pilot flew the same route with the same passengers for the 10,000th time to Miami and the odds finally got him.

Go back to the main site and look at the John Denver page. That was tragic and crazy and darkly funny all at once.

More people die each year in car accidents than in plane crashes, you're safer in a plane than in a car.
