Louise Pietrewicz - Missing since 1966

Authorities believe a missing 38-year-old woman’s skeletal remains were found Monday in Suffolk County on Long Island, New York, PEOPLE confirms. They were wrapped in burlap and buried beneath the former residence of her then-boyfriend, a married policeman.

    Dang.
What an eerie coincidence - her bones being buried at the former home of a former married boyfriend.

Whoever did it must have known the boyfriend and maybe even had access to the basement.
Unless maybe whoever did it owned the house before the former married boyfriend bought it and lived there.

That's a pretty eerie coincidence in itself - the married former boyfriend buys a house and his former girlfriend's bones just happen to be buried in the basement.

Truth is stranger than fiction, they say.

It is. But people are dumb. When you kill somebody don't bury them in your backyard--or in the basement.

Yeah, and it could have just as easily gone the other way. And I still say it was a dumb move at the time.
