Weird and tragic story:

38yo Air Force vet Brandon Jividen moves from West Virginia to Alaska to live with 23yo Rebecca Adams and her two children. (Met on Internet?)

They go for an outing, and. . . he kills them, the family dog, then himself.

Sounds like yet ANOTHER single mother made a catastrophic choice of a partner with predictably terrible results for herself and her helpless children, however it went down. Obviously she knew they were doomed, in her last conversation with her sister.

A friend of my mom's lives in Kenai. It is a very small place and in order for her to go to her doctor she has to take a small plane to get across. It is also high in suicide and drugs, from what she told me. Just don't understand why people have to kill other people and children.

I don't get it either, kill yourself if need be but don't take others, especially not children who are innocent and don't deserve to be murdered.
