    Very cool!

But where can I get one of those little mallets and a live monkey?

Am I allowed to ask about the Hag who killed him/herself?

Nicely written article. The Atlantic is an old school prestige mag. Congrats!

    Great article!
To my Father. Even though you have crossed the plane, you will always be with me.
You were not just my Father, but my hero. My life has been a poor attempt to be like you
You taught me music, vocals, and how to fight. I can only hope I am half the man you are
When I close my eyes I can see you. And finally, Thank you Dad. for everything.

I don't think we are. But I admit I am curious. Whenever a DH does not post for a long period of time I worry about them.

    Great article Scott!!

If I'm reading the article right, it was discussed in detail on the forum. But I wouldn't know where to look, and who knows, maybe those posts have been taken down.

I know a suicide was mentioned in the article, but this thread is not about that. Move on, please.

Will do Cindy. Sorry about that!!! SCOTT IS FAMOUS!!!!
I can't tell y'all how many people ask me about my "Death Hag" bumper sticker. Some people look at me like I'm mental, but more often than not, people are genuinely curious and fascinated. I think there are many closet hags.

I thought the article was very kind to us as a community. I think the writer totally "got it".

That was a great article ! The nice thing about FAD is it covers all kinds of subjects. I've learned a lot in my time here and gotten good advise from all here in the process !

Nice article! I'm glad the article deals in nuances and didn't make snap judgements about the subjects! Thank you for posting, Scott!

I'm definitely in the camp about looking at someone's severed head, but not wanting to see it getting chopped off. I've said this before elsewhere, but I'm really not pleased to watch people suffer up until the moment of death. After they're dead, they're dead. There's nothing to do about it; it's done. Their suffering is over. There's something reassuring about seeing that. We're all going to be there at some point. Maybe that's twisted morality, but that's how I work and I know a lot of people here feel the same. At the same time, I get some people get some reassurance from seeing the lead-up to the death, too. That's okay! Just not me.

The only things that bother me are animal and child abuse, puke and poo.
