Robert Chartoff - producer
Robert Chartoff, who along with his partner Irving Winkler produced some of the most successful and influential films of the late 60s, 70s & 80s has died at the age of 81.

Their collaborative efforts include They Shoot Horses, Don't They?, New York, New York, True Confessions, The Right Stuff, and two of the most iconic films about boxing - Rocky and Raging Bull. Although Raging Bull lost out to Ordinary People for a Best Picture Oscar, the AFI lists it as #4 on their 100 Best Films of All Time list.
Creed - the 7th film in the Rocky series lists Mr Winkler, Mr Chartoff and one of Mr Chartoff's sons as producers.
Mr Chartoff was at one time married to Vanessa Howard - the star of such British films as The Rise and Rise of Peter Rimmer, Here We Go 'Round The Mulberry Bush and Mumsy, Nanny, Sonny and Girly (a personal favorite)
