Last night I had fish, green beans, baked potato.

Don't know what I'll eat tonight. Something hot, I hope. I want a Firehouse sub, but will probably have to settle for a burger. Whatever Sissy's in the mood for.

I haven't thought about it, I'm still full from lunch at McD's. I'll probably microwave a burrito later on.

Since I'm not cooking as often as I used to, I don't have meal plans laid out for the time being. I went to the grocery store today and bought snacks for me and Miss E, and frozen foods. We've got burritos, spaghetti and garlic bread, pizza rolls, frozen pizza, ramen "noo-noos," and TV dinners. I buy frozen breakfast stuff, too, because we are both trying to be better about eating breakfast, me especially since I may not get my break until 2pm or later.

Turky and bacon sammie, fries, from Arbys.

Once we get moved (reset for Dec. 2) we'll have to cook more. YaY! It's a matter few joints around our apartment complex, and Sissy isn't familiar with Bogart (or, as people call it, Athens).

I miss cooking, I really do. I was making breakfast burritos every morning before work. Now, I only make them once a week, the day we have a group breakfast at work before we clock in for the day. The rest of the week it's microwaveable burritos and breakfast sandwiches.

I don't really miss cooking, but I miss home-cooked meals. First thing when we get moved I'm going to slow cook a sirloin tip with all the fixings.

Everyone is out of the house so, I will be having ramen with home made croutons and “maybe” a nice glass of wine later.

It's Ethan's 5th birthday and Sissy is eating with them. And since I rarely get to eat a sub, I told her to bring me one from Subway. I can already taste that pickle!

Some guy paid for my sub last night. Sissy said he paid for several people. Wasn't that nice?

Don't know what I'll have tonight. I want KFC, but I doubt Sissy does. Heck I could eat another sub. Lol. It was turkey with black olives. Yum!

Honey wants hamburger steaks, so that’s what I’m making for today.
When i work we don’t get home until 6:30 or later, so I’m trying to come up with some stuff I can throw together a day or 2 in advance and bake/warm up/finish up when we get home.

    Ever use a slow cooker?
    They can be pretty handy.

My son and DIL just gave me an Instant Pot - a combination slow cooker\pressure cooker\rice cooker, etc.
I haven't used it yet but I'll give it a try soon.

I'm real simple and it doesn't phase me to eat the same thing every night for a while. I like the McCormick Brown-In-Bag stuff. I'll get a roast, add sliced carrots and new potatoes and pop in in the oven. Everything cooks in the one bag, the next few nights I can just put the whole thing back in the oven for 15 or 20 minutes and it's ready - again.

I had waffles with French butter and real maple syrup.

i hate margarine and that high fructose crap that people try to pass off as syrup. Gotta have the real thing baby.

p.s. Hey Tracy! Happy to hear about your husband getting the job! Congrats!

Hubby wanted chicken noodle soup again so that is what I made, we have been eating it like crazy, I love that Better Than Bullion Chicken paste, you use three table spoons in a big pot of soup and it tastes like you made the broth home made, they also have beef paste and veggie paste.

Tonite was a Turkey burger and steak fries.

Tomorrow is pancakes and sausage. Hunny made himself some of the fluffiest pancakes I've had in a while (I had a bite) so now he's on dinner duty tomorrow.
