GA Boy Missing for 4 Years found Safe

A 13-year-old boy reported missing four years ago was reunited with his mother late Saturday morning after being found safe overnight, hidden behind a false wall in a closet of a Clayton County home.

Five people in the house were taken into custody on charges of false imprisonment, obstruction and cruelty to children. http://www.ajc.com/news/news/boy-mis...wall-in/njHnW/

Thank God he was found but I can't imagine what he's been through. I hope he can go on to live a good life.

What a crazy story. I hope the boy was not too damaged when in that home. Sounds like he did go outside and stuff. But the woman doesn't sound like someone you'd want to live with.

A judge has denied bond for a couple accused of hiding a child missing for four years behind a fake wall in their Clayton County home, according to a report from Channel 2 Action News.

The boyâ??s father Gregory Jean, 37, and 42-year-old Samantha Joy Davis, had their initial court appearance this morning following their arrests Saturday on charges of false imprisonment, obstruction and cruelty to children. http://www.ajc.com/news/news/couple-...enied-b/njH86/

A long time ago a little boy in our apartment complex disappeared at twilight and everyone took flashlights out to
search for him. I didn't really know him, but I was just so afraid. Turned out he went to the store with his grandmother, who failed to tell his parents. The point is, if I was so scared for a little stranger, I can't imagine how I would react to a child in my family or friends going missing, never mind his or her parents.

I started off thinking someone had stolen the kid and hid him in a wall for years. But alas nooooo. The father and his cohort! Did we get a reason yet? Still looking.

    I thought that too...

Child abusers should be put down...& when the parent is involved in the abuse they should be tortured & then put down. Ill never understand a parent allowing this shit.

Clayton County police gave heart-wrenching details Monday of the rescue of a 13-year-old boy who had been reported missing for four years.

The boy, who remains unnamed, led police via cellphone texts to his mother to a tiny crawl space between the garage and attic of his father’s Jonesboro home — even as his father and stepmother denied knowing the boy, officer Joanne Southerland said during a press conference Monday afternoon. http://www.ajc.com/news/news/local/p...captive/njJkt/
