Hollywood Death Trip - air date October 24 on E!

We are in the process of shooting a one-hour television program that will be shown on E! this coming Halloween. My co-host is Danielle Harris from the Rob Zombie Halloween movies and tons of other cool stuff.Click image for larger version.

Who knows, maybe it'll turn in to something HUGE (I'm hoping for a new version of Mysteries and Scandals)... or maybe it'll just be a fun show for Halloween. Either way, I'm really thrilled to do it. We're profiling some pretty interesting people and cases. I'm excited to see how it turns out.

I very much appreciate all of your support. You were there first.

    Thanks x

It's going to be great! I've already told my sister "The creator of FAD is shooting an E! show!" She goes "Wow." Thanks for sharing.

Sounds great! I used to love that Mysteries and Scandals show.

Hollywood Death Trip - air date October 24 on E!

The debut of the show I hosted with Danielle Harris will be October 24 at 10pm ET PST on E! I've seen the rough cut and I have to say it looks pretty awesome. Now you'll see one of the things I've been up to in recent months.http://www.broadwayworld.com/bwwtv/a...ights-20131002

I will set this up to record! I really enjoyed the 'Manson / Tate-LaBianca bus tour' I took with you last August. (I was the one late back to the bus because my friend and I were taking pictures in the 'Bret Michaels' park.) I know you will be awesome on this show!

    Hollywood Death Trip press release:

During "Hollywood Death Trip," Dearly Departed Tours founder Scott Michaels, takes Danielle Harris, a modern day scream queen and actress ("Halloween," "Halloween II," "Hallows' Eve"), on a special tour of the city's most disturbing death sites while offering new insight into the unfortunate events that took place. The hour-long special details the tragedy surrounding "Sons of Anarchy" actor Johnny Lewis, with Michaels and Harris getting a first-hand account from a neighbor who narrowly escaped becoming Lewis' victim himself. Later, Michaels and Harris examine Playboy Playmate of the Year Dorothy Stratten's mysterious passing in her estranged husband's room through a revealing chat with the roommate who discovered their bodies. And at the site where Brittany Murphy's home once stood, her father speaks with Michaels and Harris (Brittany's childhood friend) about what he believes is actually the shocking truth behind his daughter's death. An investigative journalist and filmmaker talks about the attempts to unearth information on the brutal murder of Hollywood power player and publicist Ronni Chasen, examining the unanswered questions which sprung up soon after her death. And finally, Michaels and Harris also speak with the best friend and roommate of Ashley Ellerin, an aspiring actress who may have been killed by the "Hollywood Ripper" just before Ashton Kutcher arrived to pick her up for their first date.

Real dirt, love it! Especially the whole Ashton Kutcher thing. There's been so much speculation on that one. Some say he found her body and didn't report it because being associated with the death would ruin his budding career. Others saying that never happened. Can't wait to see what you dig up.

And all those exclusives with the other insiders = Fabu!

Scott, I notice you wear your seatbelt in a certain way. Is it because they are made for small people and it saws on your neck? It why I "adjust" mine.

They're also not made for tall people. Mine straps me in in a way akin to those old 18 hour bra commercials.

Seatbelt was worn that way to accentuate my bust line and not to rub against the mic I'm wearing : )

    Glad you liked it. Thanks!

It was good. I must say that I can't believe anyone other than Paul Snider killed Dorothy Stratton and then himself though. Just sayin. . .

Forgot about the shirt mic. You really got the hook-ups in Hollywood. Interesting interviews with some special people and stories I have not heard. Poor girl needed an escort back to her car after you had finished with her.

That was an excellent show!!! Scott was GREAT! Makes me wanna take the 2,000 mile trip to go on the tour. I'm a huge Sons of Anarchy fan so I was even more pleased that the show started off with Johnny Lewis's suicide. Wondering why I'm such a cheap skate because I don't own a DVR and want to see the show again.

I hope they will rerun this. Friend and I had way too much fun (aka: alcohol), way too early, before the showed aired. Friend fell asleep about 9pm and I only caught the first segment before I was too tipsy and barely remember the rest of the show. Stupid, stupid, stupid! And embarrassing. I'm sure it was great though! Sorry Scott. We did have the best of intentions though...

It is being repeated on E! right now....

I watched it on Thursday and really loved it!!! Is there a chance this could be a regular show, Scott??? If so, should we e-mail E!???

A good show needs to be watched a few times. I'm finishing up on it again. There is always a few things you miss the first time because it's overwhelming.

Yeah, E repeats ratings grabbers a lot. So check your local listings because it'll likely be on a couple of times this weekend and a few days throughout this coming week.
