I wonder why everyone talks about her daughter like she is a child? (mostly in the media, not here with my FAD friends) - She is 19 and pics are out there from last year of her snorting cocaine.

Although its sad that she lost her mother, it appears her adult daughter may be on the path of her Mom and Dad?

I bet Bobby Brown is free, it's his perogative!
I knew that I did not want to be a statistic, that I wanted happiness within, and I wanted to be present because I knew what a great mover I was. I could move things and make things happen.

Newspapers over here used the 'Houston - we have a problem' headline every time her recent concerts bombed or she was seen drunk. One reported recently she'd blown her 100m fortune and was 'as broke as a joke....' was this true?
Any sign of Ray J yet?

Still shocked, even if it was sort of expected at some point. What a waste of a great talent.

Now they are saying she was found by her bodyguard (insert joke here) also called Ray. Sort of clears up the confusion.

That seems weird. Especially after even one of Ray J's friends says that Ray J found her. I wonder if this is a spin job.

Correct me if I am wrong here, but it seems like I recall an interview with Whitney where she discussed how her and BObby would get high, and he would paint faces on the wall or something, while she "read the Bible"?

I doubt she was totally broke - she likely had a few millions left. Probably nowhere near what she should have had if her and Bobby didn't snort most of it.

As for Ray J, there is something decidedly creepy about him. He was on that whack ass reality show with his sister Brandy (whom I also don't like), and there is just something about him that makes my skin crawl.

I don't believe so, but I'm sure they are going to have to rustle up some kind of a tribute or mention at the show for her. (Not that she is undeserving of it or anything - just that they have to do it very last minute and all).

I remember when my grandparents used to say, "everybody our age is starting to die", and I'm beginning to understand what they meant. My Whitney Houston was the girl in the "How Will I Know?" video up through the woman that sang "I Will Always Love You". My thoughts are with her family. RIP and thank you, Whitney.

Alot of people are saying her death is drug related but check out the pic of her the other night that's on a few posts here.
Her wrist is cut and it looks like it bled onto her legs too.

I had no idea Bobbi Christina was drugging too. Wonder if this will snap her out of it. If someone wants to make the choice to use and be addicted to drugs, I don't care. That's their business. What I do care about is when they hurt and negatively affect the people around them. I personally don't get that whole lifestyle, but to each their own. I mourn the loss of the 1980s Whitney Houston. To me, she died a long time ago.

Blasphemy! Al Sharpton just called Whitney Houston, "The queen of pop". As a life long, die hard, Madonna fan.... Those be fightin' words! She was legendary and all, but that title is far fetched from reality.

I was just checking Bobbi Kristina's twitter to see if she posted anything. Nothing. There were pictures of Bobbi K doing coke floating around the net about a year ago and supposedly Whitney took back her brand new Lexus to punish her. I guess she could try as hard as she might, but without a good example, the girl wasn't going to stand a chance.

I think you made an error. Replace "faces" with "feces" and then you've got it.

Wow! Whitney looks like Mother Jefferson in those Thursday night pix. I heard the crack dealers in L.A. are gonna ask the Gubmint for a bail-out now that Whitney's gone.

I think if it is not directly a drug overdose that killed Whitney, then maybe a heart attack or some other damage done by the drugs......she was just in rehab last May.....

I didn't get the Ray J romance, but then again Bobby Brown didn't seem like a logical choice to me either.....but that "Being Bobby Brown" show was an utter embarassment, and remember when she and Bobby went to Israel and she said it was "my people's land"?? She seemed high as a kite during then......

As much as I would like to blame Bobby, we all make our choices, and obviously Whitney made hers......she was an amazing talent, and I hope whatever demons haunted Whitney, I hope she is at peace now.....

    Its okay Elizabeth!

I wouldnt expect Bobby Brown to do anything but perform. Would anyone?

I go back again to the adult daughter, Bobby Brown has several other children that he doesnt take care of (some who are minors still) so the fact that he would not head to LA to take care of just one of his kids is not surprising to me. Its just how he is.

And their adult daughter was partying with Mom only two nights ago. That makes me believe that Bobbi is still doing drugs herself. What a sad situation, but shes an adult, and all she saw growing up was her Mom and Dad

Did anyone pick her for the 2012 death pool? If so, someone just got 52 points.
