Where were the boys' parents? I hope they throw the book at this miserable excuse of a grandparent.

The article didn't say, and I, too, hope they throw the book at Grandpa. "Grandpa" is too loose of a word for that miserable piece of crap.

I want to know the same thing. Is he their guardian or something? I didn't see it in the article.

What a worthless piece of garbage to treat his grandchildren this way.

    Found this:

    http://www.theindychannel.com/news/29060494/detail.html

The grandfather is 45 years old. Was originally picturing an elderly type. He's younger than me. The mother is 28.

    Here's "Grandpa":

Apparently, he may have taken the boys on trips to buy weed in Mexico or Jamaica. They seemed to have too much knowledge about the stuff for their age.

Concientious ranger ... he'll make a great witness.

Not only the direct abuse but pushing these children in this heat, unconscionable.

    Snipped ...

Rangers fed and hydrated the boys and they were placed in the care of Child Protective Services. One boy had symptoms of heat stroke, while the other two exhibited signs of heat exhaustion and dehydration.

Did you read the comments? Apparently Tara, mother of the boys (whom she started bearing at age 16-- family tradition I guess) was this Chris's only child with Tara's mother. Tara's mother married someone else and had other daughters--- and this Chris, father of the eldest daughter, recently sired a baby by one of her younger half-sisters! EEEWWW!!!! This is one totally train-wrecked family--- and unfortunately for society, train-wrecked families are becoming Legion.

pparently he was a health nut and an early achiever:

    T
    he hummus defense failed.

Perhaps he was just concerned about overpopulation and was trying to correct for his prodigious progenitive talent. Thanks to an overly concerned overgrown boyscout in 200 years everyone on Earth will be his direct descendant.
Oh well. There could be worse scenarios.
