I think she looks like Alanis Morrisette. Maybe she should move to Canada.

    You know what, she does!

I was one who was obsessed with this case. I watched almost every day of the trial. The day the verdict was announced, I turned the channel and have not watched any more coverage or read/posted in this thread. Today, I did break down and watch the video of her release on CNN.com. What a fucking three-ring circus!!! Police on horseback, helicopters, hecklers, protesters lining the streets - JHC!!!

They said when Caylee was born, the nurse handed the baby to Cindy first, for her to hold, instead of giving her to Casey.

Wow, even if the nurse did offer the baby to Cindy first, Cindy should have refused and said to hand the baby to her daughter first.

Sorry for bringing something old up. I'm watching a program that is talking about the case and hadn't heard that before.

Hell and tarnation!!! This Columbia is only 30 minutes from where I grew up.

    Hasn't Ohio already suffered enough?

Latest reports say Columbus, not Columbia - better but still way too close to home.
Columbus, are you effin' kidding me?! That's about an hour's drive from here.

I'm next door to you, and it pisses me off. I can only imagine how you might feel if she really is there. Is there any confirmation that she did arrive? I'm hearing conflicting reports.

The monsters among us are frightening. You never know if one is sitting beside you at work or in church. When one is publicly exposed we want to understand them, What makes them tick? What happened to make their mind think the way it does?
I will never forget the images of the Oklahoma city bombing. The monster who did never suffered any remorse. He was one of the coldest human beings I have ever seen. Whether Casey actually killed Caylee or not and I believe she did, her behavior afterwards was not normal. I think it classifies her as a monster.

What I don't understand is why people come on the thread if they have no interest.
People should be free to discuss it as long as they want to. Who are they hurting?

I haven't heard anything else about the murdering, lying bitch being here in Ohio. When the verdict came out, I recall reading about her uncle and aunt (Cindy's brother) being disgusted with the outcome. If she would live with them, that would be a wake-up call for her-no extended shopping sprees with someone paying the credit card bill and the uncle and aunt wouldn't put up with her lies.
Bitch's nose and eyes look a little red in the pic from early this morning. Was she crying because she had to leave Florida?

My guess is she probably had her jailmates believing her lies and had made some friends there. I was in for 90 days (for assaulting a jerk cop who deserved it) and I made friends and cried when I left. They were tears of joy over going home and tears because I'd miss a few of the people.

I'm in the midwest, too, in Missouri. Frankly, the midwest doesn't want her. I'm also a fan of Alanis Morissette, and have been since her "Jagged Little Pill" album. IMO, comparing Casey to Alanis even just in looks is an insult to Alanis.

Either that or she wouldn't have survived. Supposedly she's been offered $1 million for her story. Which doesn't even begin to cover the fees and lawsuits. She's being sued by at least three people: Zenaida Gonzalez for defamation of character, the company that helped search for Caylee for all those months, and the bounty hunter.

This morning on our local news the anchor was discussing with the sports guy about the stories of men proposing to Casey. The entire discussion was hilarious, but the best was when the sports guy said, "Can you imagine telling your mother that you are going to marry Casey Anthony"? They each related what they thought their own mother's response would be. It was hysterical.

How long to you think Casey will last out there on her own? She has never had to support herself. She has no training for a job that would pay rent, utilities, food, buy a car and all the other things you need to live. She has always lived off her parents and most likely has no clue how much it costs. If she doesn't marry some guy I think she will go crawling by home. I don't think her defense team will want to support her. Even f she takes the million dollar offer for an interview, won't most of that be owed to her defense team or the police to recoup their expense? Maybe the guy wanting to do the interview will take her to raise. I can't see the value of her "side' of the story. She lies on the spur of the moment and in great detail so there's nothing to be gained in listening to her.

The pathetic men who proposed to her think they can fix/protect/save/her. They're just as delusional as she is.

Much like those crazy women who marry serial killers who are in prison. I agree! I'm thinking mostly of the woman who married Ramirez, the Night Stalker dude. At least the chick who married Ted Bundy eventually figured out he really _was_ evil and cut ties with him.

They are afraid somebody will kill her. A facebook friend said "There's a bullet with her name on it out there somewhere." (No one on this forum.) I doubt it. I figure the way things are going she'll step out during a storm and get lightening struck.

    New urban legend or fact?

Is there actual evidence that the jail was struck by lightening when she was released, instead of a vague photo and a comment? Remembering little Rhoda Penmark who was struck by lightening when she was walking back to the dock where she killed Claude Daigle for his medal.

I didn't want to make it sound like you made something up, I imagine there's a record at the jail if a lightening strike took place. We pass on things we hear, I don't think you were making it up at all.

She will never admit that she had anything to do with Caylee's abuse and death, so what is there to "interview" her about? She has no life experience at all and the one thing that would make her remotely interesting is the one thing she will never talk about. Well, I guess they ask her about the following, however I sure don't see where the "interview" would warrant $1M dollars (maybe a plug nickel at best):

    A) 101 recipes for bologna
    B) How to excel in your phantom job
    C) 1001 ways to make up and keep friends
    D) Handwriting tips for successful check forgery
    E) How to lie, cheat and steal your way into a man's heart

The list could go on and on and on....."interview"...yeah right...what a joke.

Oh I didn't mean to sound like that at all - I was just trying to say I agree with you and I don't know if its real or not. Just kind of odd that lightning strikes Caylee's spot & then the jail...no worries

    Question slightly off topic but

I had a question about something; I don't quite get this "good behavior" for inmates. Don't all people in jail have "good behavior" since they are in jail anyway?? What is the 'criteria' for good behavior for someone??- "please" and "thank you" ??

to quote Howard Stern's Private Parts...

"The average Stern hater listens for two and a half hours a day."
"But... if they hate him, why do they listen?"
"Most common answer? I want to see what he'll say next."

    that about sums it up.

I wonder if they took Casey to Dick Cheney's former "undisclosed location." If so, I hope he left the bar fully stocked and the hot-tub clean.

And P.S., I stopped listening to Stern 20+ years ago when he started substituting potty mouth for actual wit. If HE gets to chat up Casey, it's a golden guarantee I would never hear it, since I refuse to pay extra for premium channels on radio, TV, or internets, to listen to those I abhor.

I wouldn't watch Casey on regular cable, either, unless the interviewer got to rip her a new one. No soft-pedaling, no stupid pre-approved questions asked with phony concern and a creepy compassion, like other celeb interviews. Just pure mean and lean.

Since that AIN'T gonna happen, I'll sit this one out, thanks. But you all go on and enjoy, and then complain about how that's an hour or two of your life you'll never get back.

It varies from state to state. I believe in California it is serve, "3 good days," receive 1 good day." Florida is 4-1.

Good behavior = cooperation, and these incentives do work.

Truism ... the complaints continue to roll in on on show hosts and stations, yet they keep watchin' the train wreck ...

I listened to Manny Barling LA attorney, blog talk radio, who said this week-end, offers on the table for an interview are running in the 25K range. Casey has no big reveal to offer. A book is impractical, would never pass the scrutiny of attorneys.

At present, she's a liabilty, unless she can be rehabilitated. If she can't be, it's deadly for the attorney's who defended her.

Exactly! How bad could her behavior be when she is locked in her cell 23 hrs/day and she still managed to f*%k that up when she was caught writing letters back and forth to that other girl.

I saw her leaving last night in her bright pink shirt and tight jeans (not very low profile) and she was not sneaked out. Apparently she went straight to a private jet that went to somewhere near Hollywood and has her own private security. Not sure whos paying from all that. But is seems to me that she has walked out from being locked up 23 hours/day to a champagne/cavier lifestyle. Thats what she gets for murdering her child?? (sorry, thats my opinion.) What is wrong with this picture? WHO is being held accountable for Caylees death??? As far as I can see - NO ONE and that really doesn't sit well with me. Upsetting to watch her leaving and smiling when she got into that S.U.V. and I guess it is only going to get worse with her getting tons of money from interviews, pictures ect... all proceeds being earned from Caylees death.
    Just venting......
