I'd have to say Caddyshack or Planes, Trains and Automobiles or Polyester. There is an old movie from 1963 called "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" which was very funny also...way ahead of it's time I think.

you know... I just could not get into the works of that of Peter Sellers nor Woody Allen. I can name maybe 2 or 3 movies of each that are good no doubt but they are not .. great.

Thank you, Aedgar, I feel a little less like an outcast. LOL I wouldn't say it was one of the best movies of all time or anything, but there were a lot of funny parts in it. Good mindless entertainment.

I like the movie Blazing Saddles and my husband, his best friend, and my dad quote lines from it a lot. It is totally amazing how much different movies were then and how much they got away with that was so politically incorrect. A movie like that would never fly these days.

I absolutely love John Candy and he is my favorite actor, but I couldn't stand Spaceballs. My husband likes it and owns the dvd, but I don't like it at all.

My husband and I constantly quote from Blazing Saddles. One of my favs, "Excuse me while I whip this out!"

Yeah, love Candy, but Spaceballs was just awful.

Almost any Monty Python or John Cleese vehicle.

I think "Fierce Creatures" is very underrated.
